Privacy Policy

Underground Ultra value your privacy. We won’t sell your information. We will use your email address to contact you about events that you’ve signed up to, or future events that we think will be of interest to you. You can unsubscribe via any mail you receive, or ask us to remove you from our mailing list manually.

Running Safety

Underground Ultra events include either guided or self-navigated runs.

Where not guided, runners will be given a map and directions and where possible GPS watch users can download the route to their device. As it’s a social run we don’t anticipate that anybody will be running alone. The emphasis is very much on the social—enjoying the scenery, stopping when we want to and running in the company of others.

  • As the majority of our routes are off-road, trail shoes are recommended.
  • It’s possible that runs could be very windy or wet, so a waterproof jacket is mandatory.
  • You should carry your own water.
  • You should carry some snacks/gels during the run, although we will be providing some on the day.
  • It would be sensible to carry a hat and gloves in case of bad weather.
  • It is recommended that you carry a basic first aid kit (blister plasters, antiseptic wipe, normal plasters) as there will be no first aid facility.
  • You should carry a fully-charged mobile phone with Kirsty or Mel’s phone number saved in the memory in case of emergency or going off-course.
